The HALLUV 24W ring light kit is a 10-inch LED ring light on a 72-inch floor tripod, with a flexible phone holder and a Bluetooth camera remote in the box. It's built for floor-standing setups: video calls, podcasts, tutorials and phone video recorded indoors.

Paid partnership: HALLUV is running an Amazon Creator Connections campaign on this kit, so we earn an extra bonus on top of the normal commission when you buy through our link. We haven't used it. We don't have a sample. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing and customer reviews, and we say where the listing doesn't tell us enough.

The short answer

  • Buy it if you want one boxed kit (light, tall stand, phone arm, remote) for indoor video, and you have a wall outlet nearby. 👉 HALLUV 24W Ring Light with 72" Tripod on Amazon
  • Skip it if you shoot outdoors or on the move. The listing is for indoor use and the light needs an outlet.
  • Heads up: the listing calls the light "full-screen" (a filled 10-inch disc, not a hollow ring), and the Bluetooth remote is a camera shutter remote. Reviewers say brightness and colour are set on a controller that sits on the power cord.

Price and offers

What buyers mention

The listing had few ratings (25), and most of the top reviews we read were from Amazon's Vine program, where reviewers receive the product for free. Weigh them accordingly. In those reviews:

  • Several liked the adjustable brightness and colour temperature, the tall stand and the phone arm, and found setup easy.
  • One reviewer said the light is only controlled from the controller on the power cord, and that the Bluetooth fob only triggers the phone camera.
  • One reviewer said the cord is short when the stand is fully extended, and that the controller sits partway down the cord, so it can be out of reach from a chair.
  • One reviewer said it's lightweight and stable enough for indoor use, but not for windy places. A separate reviewer noted that a 10-inch ring suits close-up, one-person shots and isn't a replacement for larger studio lights.

Before you buy

  1. Measure your space. A 72-inch tripod with spread legs needs floor area. One reviewer noted the legs spread fairly wide.
  2. Plan the cord. Check where your outlet is and where you'll sit so you can reach the controller.
  3. Check "Sold by". This listing was sold by Luxsure-US.
  4. Keep the box until you've tried it. Amazon lists a 30-day return window on most orders.
